The breath holding curse
Sunlight filters through the leaves of towering pines as five animal girls trek through the undergrowth. Elara, a sleek cheetah with eyes like golden emeralds, leads the way, her movements a blur of grace. Beside her trots Maya, a nimble squirrel with a bushy tail the color of burnished copper. Following close are Luna, a silver fox with a coat that shimmers like moonlight, Kiara, a strong bear with fur as dark as midnight, and Pip, a mischievous otter with playful brown eyes.
